Done!

My Totally Autumn throw, another one of Anne Hanson’s great designs, is drying happily and I think it will make it to Toronto on time, Yay! It is quite shy and its colours really do not want to show themselves but this is the general idea:

The pink is much too pink in this photo but I think you can get the general idea. I was worried about the colour combination but am quite pleased with the result.

I sure hope Mary will like it and that it will keep her warm during those chilly Toronto winter nights.

The Javelinas Hunt

This weekend Margene and her husband Smith were visiting Flagstaff, AZ and we had a chance to meet and spend a wonderful evening and day with them. I have many photos but am short on time today so let us start with the Javelinas Hunt. Awhile ago when I discussed the Javelina member of the swine family with Ann of the Purlingswine, she found out about the Javelinas on Parade in Sedona and I promised to take some photos the next time I will be in Sedona.

So, when we arrived to Sedona on our way to our final destination and I spotted one of those I asked Joe to STOP and find a parking place because us girls need to take some photos! so here are the few javelinas we found:

We spotted some more Javelinas when we were back in the car but sorry Ann, we had a very important destination with a closing time to bit, I promise to do a better job next time. More about the rest of our adventures and that destination, soon.
