TTL Mystery Sock KAL Part II

This morning I took some progress photos of my  TTL mystey sock and I have to share some of them with you. I think it is the yarn! I just can’t stop admiring this project:

Isn\'t this just the most amazing yarn and color? I just love it!

I got the second part of the pattern Tuesday around 9:00 p.m. my time. I started the cable version on one cuff and then the basic version on the second cuff. The cable one turned out to be too small, it didn’t want to go past my arch,,,

Wednesday morning I checked both options in day light and decided I prefer the basic version with this yarn so I didn’t try to solve the size issue by going a needle size up.

Last night I finished the leg of one sock and fell asleep with the second one, this is what I have so far:

Lovely socks knitted with The Woolen Rabbit Sock yarn

The color of this yarn: Iggy Pop – is amazing and very hard to capture on camera, I think this next photo is the best presentation of it I got so far:

asock knitted in The Woolen Rabbit, Iggy Pop colorway

As I don’t have a sock blocker, I used my arm to try and show you the details of the pattern:

Details of the cuff and the stitch pattern of the leg

The bump there on the right side is one of my fingers,,,

I love this yarn and enjoy the KAL very much.

Oh and I think I really like the other side of this stitch pattern too, I may try it on another sock soon. It  can add some interest to a 2×2 rib sock.

The only problem – I knit it instead of the vest that has a dead line,,, shame on me!
