My good friend Luly in Dublin, Ireland wants to know what are those beautiful ropes good for (we have to excuse her girls, she is not a knitter…).
So, just for Luly here are my blue ropes in action:
All I can say is: I am old and fat – as I can do nothing about the old, maybe I should do something about the fat and soon?!?
Although, correct me if I am wrong but I think in many cases a skinny old neck looks even worse than a fat one and this is a very poor excuse in my book!
Oh the sun fooled us to go out for a walk. At the river we saw we were not the only ones fooled by her (yes, the sun is a she (of course) in Hebrew):
Have a great weekend everyone :)
Is that i-cord? Very cool and the color is amazing!
Duckies! :D
xo
The blue is gorgeous, the ropes interesting and fun, even better that they keep your neck warm. Now, to your face…you are a sweet and caring friend and a smile would take away many of your wrinkles and show the beautiful person inside. You are perfect as you are.
Ooh, how fun! I very much like that. And I adore that hat (although I know it wasn’t the subject of this post); I think I may need to knit one of those for myself some day. I wouldn’t worry about the neck; we women should wear our age as proudly as our male peers :)
Very pretty – I love the color and it looks great on you. But …where is the smiling?
Stay warm!
That blue looks terrific on you! What a fabulous cowl — so “chic” in a totally wearable way. Was it fun to make? And. As for your neck? Well. Life is good. We age. Throw your arms open wide and embrace the day. :-)
