Pissed

My reasons for being pissed:

1. I can’t knit!

2. I can’t type in Hebrew.

3. I can’t knit!

4. I feel quite stupid.

5. I can’t knit!

6. I  am not original, oy.

7. Did I mention already that: I  can’t knit?

I have to wait until tomorrow until I will know for how long – OY!

I slipped on ice and tried to save my butt!

I am not a spinner!

Look at this beauty:

Oh my, such a lovely capture of the Niagara Falls in winter!

Around 2 weeks ago I first read about these lovely  fluffies on Cookie’s blog. I immediately clicked on the provided links and saw a few of those:

They looks so soft and lovely, why oh why I don't spin?

offered for sale on: The Cupcake Fiber Company Etsy Shop.

I read Joan’s version of the story on her blog and visited her new venture’s website: The Cupcake Fiber Company.

I immediately left the following comment on Cookie’s blog:

“Oh my, they look so lovely! BUT, I am not starting to spin because of you, I am NOT!

So, as I commented on Joan’s blog, I will have to pressure you, to do your magic on her, so the next stage of her adventure will be to sell the yarn made from those lovelies to us non spinners between your groupies!

You can count this as nagging no. 1!”

You can imagine my delight when in response Cookie offered to spin some of those for me! she is the best friend isn’t she?!?

So, last Sunday I went into the Cupcake shop and immediately fell in love with the Niagara ones:

Hmmm,,, soft,,, squishy,,, very tempting!

You can probably imagine my disappointment when I realised someone snitched them from my shopping cart while I was taking care of the payment! I tell you, those spinners are a dangerous gang!

I immediately complained to the authorities and Joan in her grace, offered to dye some batts in this exquisite color just for me, YAY!

So, those beauties are now visiting Cookie and waiting patiently (just like me) for their turn on her wheel.

I am so lucky to find such special, nice friends through the internet! Thank you Cookie and Joan too.

On Being Organized

This week Ten on Tuesday is about how to be organized.

I don’t participate in Ten on Tuesday but I must say one thing about this week’s subject: Whenever you feel the need to be more organized, go read a chapter of this excellent book:

A Perfect Mess by Eric Abrahamson and David H. Freedman:

The Hidden Benefits of Disorder – How Crammed Closets, Cluttered Offices, and On-the-Fly Planning Make the World A Better Place
