A lesson I learned this passing foliage season: grab it now as it will not be here tomorrow. So this year I will concentrate on the pleasure of the fields of leaves instead:

I enjoy so much walking in the leaves

Pretending not to play with them

Or enjoy the lovely crunchy noise they make

Those dry leaves swirl so nicely

You better be careful on those leafy slopes

And some of the leaves end up in lovely places

I find the bare trees striking

And we managed to find a few red things still decorating the yellow rug scenery
